Are you a student interested in discussing important topics, tackling community issues, learning from experts, and receiving mentorship? Fill out this application to apply to join a community of high schoolers working together to grow and improve the world around us.
The Young Leaders Group meets every other week to engage in discussions and learn from various speakers about meaningful topics. Participation is considered an internship or volunteer hours with the Vice Mayor of Los Gatos. Meetings will begin in September and will be held through the end of the school year in December. The target age group is high school-aged students.

This group is for all students, even if you do not consider yourself a leader. When I was in high school, I was not very studious and often felt lost. If that sounds at all like you, you're welcome here! The goals of the Young Leaders Group are for members to build community, engage in challenging conversations, learn important life skills, and do good work for the community.

​Student participants ultimately decide the topics covered by speakers. Examples of topics may include:
